SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

LA Court Messaging, operated and managed by the Los Angeles Superior Court (“LA Court”), provides text message notifications from the California Courts. These messages may include subscriptions such as appointment reminders, jury duty information, case status updates, and other court-related notifications. By opting in to any subscription under LA Court Messaging service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and consent to receive text messages from LA Court at the mobile number you provide. Participation is voluntary.

Opt-Out

You may cancel any LA Court Messaging program at any time. To stop receiving messages, text STOP from your mobile device. If you are subscribed to more than one program, text LIST to view your subscriptions and follow the instructions to stop specific ones. To stop messages from all programs, text STOP ALL.

After texting STOP or STOP ALL, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming your unsubscribe. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

LA Court may revise these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Warranty

LA Court, operating LA Court Messaging, and its service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered text messages. Message delivery is subject to your wireless carrier’s network performance.
